Expections From Collaboration

We are at the first phase of introducing Matsya Saathi, our mobile app designed to support coastal fishermen. For this, we would greatly value your collaboration in the following way:

• Visit coastal areas in Maharashtra where marine fishing is a primary livelihood.

• Show fishermen a short video of the mobile app and explain its features.

• Collect their honest feedback, including their list of pain areas, and any suggestions or additions they feel would make the app more useful.

• Feedback forms will be provided to make it easy for them to share thoughts.

• If their expectations are met and they are interested, we will create a list of their names for initial usage.

• Visit a few more locations (3–4 places) to gather similar insights and data.

This will help us improve our idea and start building an app that truly serves the community. The collected data can also help us approach government agencies for potential funding or support. While the app will eventually have a subscription model, we plan to give free access for the first month so fishermen can explore its benefits without worry.
